A. Yes, WORKNC has offered thread milling in Manual and Auto Hole Machining for several releases. In V23 thread milling has also been added to the Tapping toolpath.
You have the option of calculating a thread milling path thru the Feature Recognition and now with V23 you can also calculate a thread milling path thru the Tapping toolpath.
This enhancement allows right or left hand threads, multiple lateral passes, cutter compensation, top-to-bottom or bottom-to-top execution and both internal and external threads. This method requires the use of a point set.
